Untamed Retribution is a game created by krazykid849

Hello everyone and welcome to my fifth review. Today I'll review Untamed Retribution by Krazykid849. Now why don't you grab a can of soda and a pack of crisps while you witness reading the review itself?

Introduction

Krazykid849 is one of my best friends by far on the site. He's created a lot of shooters; desperate for a feature. But yet his games have turned out amazing from what I've expected. I've witnessed playing all his shooters and every game he's created, I think he's done a mass improvement from his last game.

Krazy is a soldier on the Sploder Forums and in my opinion, I think that's a great achievement for one to obtain. He still has a long way to go through though. The reason I picked this game is because I sounded very persuasive and I was glad to find it in the featured list a couple of days later. I also wanted this game to get noticed; But let's move on, shall we?

Make sure not to spill your can of soda over the keyboard!

Review

*Gameplay* - The gameplay was very well-developed throughout. It was very suspicious once you started the game but as you go on further, you'll find yourself trapped in a horde of enemies. That's probably one of the minor aspects why I've chosen the game; In the beginning, there was nothing to be seen in sight but power-ups and a little amount of minor enemies. I guess that was a great way to stop Lag as from what I've seen, there's a lot in this game; It occurred to me that the theme is very lone, suspicious and scary-like. Overall I found this pleasurable and note-worthy.

*Scenery* - The scenery was an average constructive aspect of the game. I liked it but nothing much was placed in the beginning of the game. The only thing that provided the scenery strongly was the pusher that was used frequently in the game; Although it made it more or less challenging at different parts of the game. overall, it was somewhere decent. The only other scenery placed in the game was the blue polys but there's no need to worry about that for now.

*Action* - The action was very enthusiastic and very pleasurable. I really enjoyed it and thus a lot developed in the game. It was better than I expected and I haven't much like this in a very long time. Even as if there wasn't any action present in the beginning of the various game, I see no problem. To elaborate further, I've seen a lot towards the end of the game; Disruptors were a huge contribution to the likewise action of the game. Overall, it was very enjoyable and it was almost fast-paced as well throughout the end of the game.

On the other note, I suggest you grab another can of soda and another pack of crisps because this will be a long review!

*Difficulty* - The difficulty was very challenging throughout. Especially the beginning of the game as it took me a couple of various tries to pass that part. Difficulty was very strong in the game and it started to get more challenging once you go on further through the game; That's where you'll be seeing the numerous amount of polys in sight.

It did provide addictiveness as well since of what makes it challenging. Overall, The difficulty in the game is very challenging and strongly used in the game.

*Puzzles&Traps* - The puzzles and traps were used numerously in the game and it was quite repetitive once you began the game. But on the bright side, the puzzles were almost original and even the traps were pleasurable; They weren't the best but I liked it anyhow. Overall it was slightly alright. There was a lot throughout the ending of the game but yet, it wasn't originally used.

*Lag* - Considering this aspect used in the game, there wasn't any throughout the beginning; But yet, lag started to increase very slowly as you continue. Hence the disruptors that appeared in narrow passageways for that did develop and contribute the increasement of lag on that note. Overall, it was quite tempting and it was easier to play in relation to the beginning of the game.

Aw darn, I'm hungry. I'm going to get a quick snack then it's back to reviewing.. Just a sec.

Two seconds later

I'm back. Let's move on, shall we? There's still quite a long way to go through though.

*Placement* - The placement in the game was very well-thought and constructive. Thus there wasn't many enemies in the game. I see how Krazy has tempted to take time with the enemies placed in the game for they did provide and contribute a very great aspect throughout; The disruptors and propellers played a huge part in this aspect. Overall, it was very constructive, enjoyable and mostly non-effective to a lack of gameplay.

~Slurps coffee~ Let's get moving.. Now where were we? Ah yes, Let's move on to the Pros and Cons. Gawd, that was fast.

Pros

-Gameplay

-Action

-Lag

-Placement

-Difficulty

Cons

-Scenery

-Puzzles And Traps

Wow, only two Cons. I never had to deal much with that before. I feel enlightened. Well, for now.

Ratings

-Gameplay: ____/_____

I found it very pleasurable. I loved how it gave a suspicious theme throughout the beginning of the game; But it got a little boring throughout the middle of the game.

-Action: _____/_____

In my ever so enthusiastic opinion, I believe this was a very constructive aspect in terms of 'Action' in the game. The propellers and disruptors are almost unbelievable to my appearance. I've never seen much of this in quite a long time. It was fast-paced too so Krazy will deserve a cookie for that. (::)

Aw darn, I couldn't help myself and I ate it. I'll buy another cookie once I finish this review. Gah..

-Lag: ___/_____

This is very notable and was used strongly in the game. There was no presence of lag in the beginning by amazingly, it started to increase slowly before my eyes.

-Scenery: __/_____

Okay firstly, there wasn't much scenery well-developed in the game. In fact, there was rarely any scenery in the beginning but it did start to increase very slowly throughout. The only major scenarios were the pushers and the blue poly which was addictively used strongly in the game.

-Difficulty: ___/_____

In my opinion, it was somewhat challenging but yet very addictive. I certainly enjoyed it so make that two cookies for Krazy. Likewise, it reached a certain level and it really infleunced me to enherit it. I choose not to though as I want to keep my games as original as they should be. Likewise this goes for Krazy at some cases as well.

-Puzzles And Traps: __/_____

Let's say that it wasn't very constructive and this needs to be improved. The same puzzle was used numerously throughout the game; But it was worth trying though. Overall, it was alright.

-Placement: ____/_____

I have to say that the placement was very well-developed and more or less enthusiastic. It provided excellency and the disruptors and propellers luckily increased the placement rate in the game. They were outstanding in their presence. Ocerall, this made the game very addictive and it was very enjoyable.

Overall Rating: ___/_____

A quite high rating and it succeeded minorly in some way. I enjoyed most of the game but there's a few major or minor improvements that needs to worked on constantly.

Creativity: ___/_____

The game was somewhat creative but it didn't stand out in my opinion.

Originality: __/_____

The game wasn't much of an original game. It reminded me of Duck by Tookewl; but yet I don't want to depress Krazy every so often.

Addictiveness: ____/_____

The game has been very addictive yet again in my opinion. The placement, difficulty and action together provided a massive amount of addictiveness throughout the game.

Rating: ___/_____

This was very well-thought in the game altogether. All the 3 Major Aspects are indeed enjoyable in some particular or peculiar way.

Overall Rating: ___/_____

Out of the seven minor aspects and three major aspects together, it was very enjoyable, constructive, enthusiastic and yet massively addictive. Well done on achieving this high rating, Krazy.

Gah, there needs to be some improvement in the game..

There's a lot of aspects that yet Krazy himself has to improve on to increase the chances of the game being addictive, noticeable and feature worthy. Let's look at them now so then Krazy will learn from this. Don't worry, y'all get to learn from this too if you want to make a great game.

What Krazy Needs To Improve On

-Puzzles And Traps

-Scenery

-Lag

Puzzles and Traps: Perhaps spend more constructive time on this. Don't use the same all over again. There wasn't much though on my opinion. To improve this, think up an idea and be creative. That will surely ensure you that you will Recieve more notice on your game.

Be creative.

Scenery: Again, be creative. There wasn't much placed in the beginning but I see this is a way to stop Lag. This doesn't always do though in these terms. Perhaps add a few more polys in the game and then it'll stand out a bit more.

Add certain objects to develop more in the game

Lag: The only great thing about this is there was no presence of lag in the beginning of the game; but as you go on further, Lag will more or less increase very slowly or rapidly. This as a little or minor connection with Scenery but the best thing to do to stop the increasing rate of Lag is to alas, don't add a lot of cannons once you're stuck in a certain trap or puzzle. Add more space in the game and make it bigger. Develop.

Don't make the space too cramped or otherwise the enemies would be a problem

Startrekzooka Final Thoughts

The game was enjoyable and addictive throughout but if Krazy follows those advices and notifications I provided, he'll be sure to get his game with a likewise more attention. Thus it will also help increase the chances of getting it featured; But yet it already is. I enjoyed certain parts of the game and the only aspect that stood out is Addictiveness; What makes it addictive is the action, gameplay and the challenging difficulty in the game. The only reason why I chose this game is because I wanted this age to get noticed because it had a fair chance of getting featured. Likewise, it was indeed constrictive and tempting as well.

Well guys, we're almost finished the review, no time to waste; Let's continue..

So is the game feature worthy?

Well, it was very constructive, it was indeed addictive and the action was yet fast-paced in my opinion so the answer to this desperate question is yes. Alas, it was quite enthusiastic and hence the great placement in the game. The lack of lag was almost perfect so yes, it is indeed feature worthy.

Well guys, it looks like I'm finishing up the review. Anyhow, I hope you liked it. I hope you didn't spill any cans of soda or anything because it seems like a long review by far. Don't tell me that you finished the pack of crisps because really, I'm quite hungry at the moment so yeah. Can I have some please?

Oh and the 2 cookies I promised, I'll give it to him now.

Hands cookies to Krazy

I hope you enjoyed the review.
