Pre-thoughts:

I've not once played any one of mats games and to be really honest I don't think I would have it hadn't come to me making my forum thread. Anyway, by the thumbnail I was already intrigued and mystified, this guy knew what he was doing and knew how to do it. And I could see all this just by looking at a thumbnail, but I tell, crystal clear, that it was gonna be alot better in the actual game.

Review:

The block placement was quite good, I just didn't like the way everything was all willy-nilly and unorganised, especially the way the blocks were always the same color and the background different. The other thing I disliked, was the size of the blocks, it was sometimes different and I always hate it when people do that, but the colors of the backround and co intrigued, mystified and amazed me, especially the way I worked as a sort-of chameleon, evading my evil owner who doesn't want me to escape. Now, Grant has said that the game owners/creators like to know what I think about their games'. So here it is: I think that the background was fun to with and quite intriguing to watch your little chameleon pass through each color. I did not like some of the block thicknesses because they actually restricted me from doing what the game needed me to do, for example when you run through that wall at the start, it didn't work the first three times I tried. I also loved the way that all the enemies and hazards were red, it was quite alerting that my dude was going to lose a life. Thanks using that color code.

Puzzles? I'm not too sure that there were any puzzles later in the game, but towards there were plenty, but all easy because of the platform that was given to you for it to be easier. Anyway, I know I didn't complete chameleon, but I did see a good a half of it and collected two out of three coins. Anyway, as I said the puzzles were plentiful but easy at the start, attracting me making me want to go hard out on the one leveled chameleon game. I also loved the fact that the chameleon bended in with everything, including the puzzles, making everything a little more difficult (but still too easy for a master like me). But what can I say, this is a good game, with a few puzzles at the start that turn into traps slowly.

Now, the enemies and hazards/traps are what makes a game for me, what makes this games awesome, however, I did have a problem with the fact there were no moving enemies, I mean the was a spawner catapult, but that was a catapult, not an actual enemy, to be really honest, I didn't see any enemies or anything except for hazards, but I supose that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes when you want a good game. But, the hazards were plentiful and easy to avoid, but when I stuffed up would die and stopped me from winning, so you did do quite well and the traps, a little less used were almost emaculate and considerably harder to avoid especially later on in the game and even more so when you get near the coins.

Scores:

Puzzle: 3/5

Length: 2/5

Block placement: 3.5/5

Enemies, hazards and traps: 4/5

Overall: 3/5

Good work mat, just work a little keeping the fun up in your game, because puzzle after trap after puzzle after trap is really boring unless each one you make is innovative and exiting to the player. But to say with my whole heart, the colors were bright and vibrant.
