Hey all,

JJS back with another review. You can tell I don't really have a title for this so I'm just gonna go random, alright? We have about 5 more EGD reviews to go. It's going to be my 38th review, and my 5th for this year's EGD. I'll be reviewing MazeMasterZ Elemental Education by Chucky12. I hope I'm not getting you guys mad if I reviews are short, but the games I've been reviewing haven't been giving me much at all, this will probably be another of those reviews.

We didn't have many contestants for the 3D Algorithm Crew creator this year in the EGD, we had about 3 or 4 I think, and there weren't any from any well known game makers (last year we had Parry enter this category with his great game, A War Story), so this category was rather dull this year, if I'm going to be honest. Chucky was one of the members who had a shot with a 3D, and I've read in one of his comments on the game that it's a learning game for younger members; from that I got the vibe that it's not really a game to enter in EGD, but we have to review them all anyway. So, off we go.

REVIEW

The gameplay was strange, as Chucky said, this was a learning game for younger members, there were random questions, like "what shape is this" "what is this answer" etc. II didn't really get it to be honest, when Chucky said "learning" I assumed he meant learning about the creator. I think I was wrong, is this like a general knowledge quiz for grade 1's? I don't know really, it's weird that this was entered in EGD, but that's cool I guess, that was up to him.

I was also annoyed at all of the doors, every turn or every few turns there'd be another door, stopping and starting, stopping and starting, it wasn't really too fun, but maybe that's just because I didn't really understand the game. And I think in some areas the enemies were overused (such as the drones), at one point there were about 20 drones coming at you all at once, I can just imagine the little kids raging lol.

There weren't really any puzzles, I guess for the younger members, this would be quite a test, but not really. Do you see what I mean about this being tough to review? I'm not bagging out your game Chucky, I just don't understand why this needs to be reviewed (if you actually did ask for one).

Overall I don't think this is the kind of game to enter in EGD, it's nice of you to try and help the younger members by giving them a test but I don't get it as an EGD game.
